About

Isabella Nha is a Director of Photography based in New York City. She is currently pursuing a dual degree in Film & Television and Philosophy at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and the College of Arts and Science.

Originally from South Korea, Isabella has lived in Australia, Germany, and Qatar, experiences that have deeply shaped her artistic perspective. This international upbringing informs her visual storytelling with a cross-cultural sensibility and a sensitivity to emotional nuance, memory, and atmosphere. Her work often explores the unspoken tension between interior and exterior worlds, favoring restrained, psychologically driven imagery over spectacle.

Isabella’s approach to cinematography is grounded in a strong narrative sensibility and a deep curiosity about human nature. She strives to create images that do not just serve the story, but challenge the audience to feel and reflect.
